Overview
This policy explains how billing, cancellations, and refunds work for R4Copier, operated by Rhino4 Solutions (“we”, “us”). It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe.
Subscriptions & billing cycles
R4Copier is sold as a recurring subscription, billed either monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you choose at checkout. Yearly plans are billed once for the year and offer a discount versus paying month to month.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period using your payment method on file, until you cancel. Applicable taxes (including UAE VAT, where it applies) may be added at checkout.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from the billing section of your dashboard. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then — we do not cut you off mid-period.
After your access ends, the self-hosted terminal will no longer validate your licence.
Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are charged at the start of each one-month period. Because the period is short, monthly payments are generally non-refundable: when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month already paid for, and you are not charged again.
Yearly plans
If you cancel a yearly plan within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of the year. After 30 days, the yearly term is non-refundable, but you will not be billed again unless you renew.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method via Stripe and typically settle within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
How to request a refund
Email support@r4copier.com from the address on your account, with your account email and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within two business days. Eligible refunds are processed promptly once approved.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we (through Stripe) may retry the charge over a short period. If payment cannot be collected, your subscription may be suspended or cancelled, and the terminal will stop validating your licence until billing is restored.
Price changes
We may change plan prices or features for future billing periods. Where required, we will give you reasonable advance notice. Price changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for, and you can cancel before a change takes effect if you do not agree to it.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can usually resolve it faster than your bank. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may lead to suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws of the United Arab Emirates or your country of residence. Where such laws grant you a stronger refund right than this policy, that right applies.
